Summary

Selection Process
- SSC JE 2026 में selection process मुख्य रूप से Paper-I और Paper-II Computer Based Examination पर आधारित है।
- Paper-I qualifying in nature होगा। Paper-I के normalized marks के आधार पर category-wise candidates को Paper-II के लिए shortlist किया जाएगा.
- Final selection और Post/Organization/Office allocation Paper-II में प्राप्त performance और candidate द्वारा दी गई post/organization preference के आधार पर होगा, subject to fulfilment of prescribed eligibility conditions.
- UR: 30%
- OBC / EWS: 25%
- All Other Categories: 20%
- Paper-I से shortlist अलग-अलग category-wise merit के आधार पर होगा और final merit के लिए Paper-II के normalized scores का उपयोग किया जाएगा.
- SSC final allocation से पहले candidates से post/organization preference online option form के माध्यम से लेगा। एक बार preference submit करने के बाद इसे final और irreversible माना जाएगा। अगर eligible candidate निर्धारित समय में preference submit नहीं करता है, तो उसे final result में किसी post के लिए consider नहीं किया जाएगा.
- Border Roads Organization के Junior Engineer posts में stringent Physical Efficiency Test और Physical/Medical Standards हैं। BRO JE posts के लिए केवल male candidates eligible हैं.

SSC JE Recruitment 2026 : Application Correction
SSC correction window 28 September 2026 से 30 September 2026 रात 11:00 बजे तक open करेगा.
Candidate correction window के दौरान application को maximum दो बार modify करके resubmit कर सकता है।
First correction: ₹200/-
Second correction: ₹500/-
Correction charges सभी candidates के लिए same हैं, category या gender के आधार पर इसमें exemption नहीं है.
Correction केवल उन्हीं candidates के लिए available होगी जिनकी completed application और applicable fee समय पर SSC को receive हुई है.

Negative Marking
Paper-I में प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए 0.25 marks की negative marking होगी।

Questions Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions होंगे और paper Hindi तथा English दोनों languages में रहेगा.
Calculator और Tables
Exam के दौरान required होने पर IS 456:2000 Code of Practice और Steam Table candidate console पर उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। Scientific Calculator भी computer screen पर उपलब्ध होगा। Physical calculator या physical table लेकर exam lab में जाना allowed नहीं है.
SSC JE 2026 : Syllabus
SSC के official notice में engineering subjects का standard Civil, Mechanical और Electrical के लिए लगभग Diploma in Engineering level बताया गया है। Computer Science & IT, Electronics & Telecommunication, Physics और Telecommunication subjects का standard लगभग Graduation level का रहेगा.

SSC JE Recruitment 2026 : Required Documents
Application भरते समय candidate को qualification और application details से संबंधित information ready रखनी चाहिए। Official form में educational qualification, passing year, board/university, roll number, percentage/CGPA, highest qualification, selected subject और applicable category/ex-servicemen details आदि भरने होते हैं.
Document Verification के समय Educational Qualification, Caste/Category और अन्य claims से संबंधित certificates/documents मांगे जा सकते हैं। अगर application में किया गया कोई claim supporting document से prove नहीं होता है, तो candidature cancel की जा सकती है.

SSC JE Recruitment 2026 : Important Instructions
Form की last date 22 September 2026, 11:00 PM है। Heavy website load से बचने के लिए SSC ने candidates को last date का wait न करने की सलाह दी है.
Application submit करने से पहले Preview/Print option से हर detail check करें और submitted application की copy अपने पास रखें.
Candidate को वही engineering subject select करना चाहिए जो उसकी prescribed Essential Qualification के अनुसार applicable है। Application में selected subject/stream बाद में change नहीं किया जा सकता.
Exam centre से संबंधित timetable और City/Centre information SSC website पर examination से लगभग 10 दिन पहले उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी.
Admission Certificate SSC website पर available होगा। SSC इसे post या email के माध्यम से नहीं भेजेगा.
जो candidates Aadhaar-Based Authentication के बिना exam में जाते हैं, उन्हें official instructions के अनुसार Admission Certificate के साथ required recent colour photographs और valid Photo ID रखना होगा। ऐसे candidates को examination venue पर prescribed reporting requirements भी follow करनी होंगी.
Result/final selection के बाद भी appointment automatic नहीं है। Candidate को prescribed eligibility, document verification और concerned Government requirements satisfy करनी होंगी.
Selected candidates की probation period 2 years होगी और probation के दौरान prescribed training/examination requirements पूरी करनी पड़ सकती हैं.
